A codex review of this PR found that geocode_city_sync (and its async and step-generator forms) still tested coordinates for truthiness in ten places, so a country-qualified lookup that found a place on the equator or prime meridian was discarded and the fallback queries tried instead; wx's own None check never saw it. They now test for None. The new test drives geocode_city_sync itself with only the first lookup succeeding, which fails before this change. The CHANGELOG entry's lookup count is corrected.
