core: report an invitation the agent already used
Accepting a contact request that was already accepted reached the user as error agent CMD PROHIBITED SEInvitationNotFound acceptContact, invitationId = "..." The chat layer cannot tell that case from an accept that failed: the contact connection is committed at ConnNew before acceptContact is called, and a successful accept leaves it at ConnNew as well, until the peer's CONF arrives. A guard on the connection would reject retrying an accept that failed with a network error - covered by "retry connecting via contact link". The agent can tell, because it owns the invitation and clears it in the right order: getInvitation requires accepted = 0, joinConn can fail, and only then does acceptInvitation set accepted = 1. So SEInvitationNotFound means the request was accepted, while a join that failed leaves the invitation for the retry to find. Its CMD PROHIBITED is translated rather than re-derived; within acceptContact' that error has no other source. |

core: do not connect to a group whose member is already connected
Connecting to a prepared group whose host or relay member already had a connection created a second one for the same member - UNIQUE constraint failed: connections.group_member_id reachable by connecting again from a second view of the same group. joinContact advances the connection past ConnPrepared only after the agent call returns, so a join that failed is resumed by the ConnPrepared branch above and reaching this one means the join already succeeded; there is no case where connecting again is what the caller wants. Replaces a connect' call the code already questioned. The two tests reach this error only because owner members are now re-used, so they cover both halves: without either change they fail on a constraint instead. |

core: re-use link owner members when connecting to a group again
Connecting to a prepared group creates the link owner members from the link data inside withFastStore, before the relay loop, and throws when every relay connection fails. That error is an agent BROKER error, which the clients treat as retryable: they offer Retry and re-send the same command, which inserted the same owner members a second time - UNIQUE constraint failed: group_members.group_id, group_members.member_id so joining a channel over a flaky network and retrying failed on a raw SQLite error. Owner member creation was the only step in the command that was not already idempotent: connectToRelay re-uses the relay member record via getCreateRelayForMember, and a join that failed leaves the connection at ConnPrepared for joinPreparedConn' to resume, because joinContact advances the status only after the agent call returns. |

* core: don't mark member support chat items read when reading group without scope Reading a group without a scope marked support-scope items read without decrementing the per-member support_chat_items_* counters, so members stayed unread in the support list even after their chat was fully read. Restrict the no-scope group read and its timed-items query to main-scope items. * plans: support chat unread on no-scope group read * core: update query plans for group scope read The main-scope read and timed-items queries now filter on group_scope_tag and group_scope_group_member_id, so they seek via idx_chat_items_group_scope_stats_all (5-column) instead of idx_chat_items_groups_user_mention (3-column). * plans: document query-plan and benchmark performance results * tests: fix unreliable support item id capture in no-scope group read test lastItemId returns the latest item by item_ts, which right after createGroup2 can be the group "connected" event rather than the just-sent support message. The per-item read then targeted the wrong (already-read, main-scope) item and never decremented the support counters, so the test failed regardless of the fix (consistently in CI, flakily locally depending on item ordering). Capture the support item id directly from the member-support scope instead, keeping the change contained to this test. Verified: the test passes with the fix and fails when the fix is reverted. * tests: fix name-shadowing build error in no-scope group read test The local pattern binding `itemId` shadowed the `itemId` helper imported from ChatTests.Utils, which -Wname-shadowing (Werror) rejects. Rename the local binding to `iId`. |

Surface the XFTP servers that hosted a file's chunks in the message info screen (Android, desktop, iOS), so a user can see which servers they are downloading from (or, for sent files, uploading to) whenever they want to know. APIGetChatItemInfo now returns fileXftpServers, derived from the stored file description (private snd descr for sent items, rcv descr for received items); extraction is best-effort and never fails the call. |

Reads file, base64-encodes as data URL, and updates the user profile directly in the DB - no notification is sent to existing contacts. Skips the update if the stored image already matches. Update genProfileImg to fit the cap. * cli: add --headless option for chat relay Skips interactive prompts (relay address creation, display name) so the chat relay can run non-interactively as a service. Requires --relay; creating a new profile also requires --user-display-name. * test: cover profile image size limit and address server Adds tests for two new capabilities: - profile image size validation rejects oversized images - /_address with a server pins the address to the requested SMP server * core: update simplexmq (pass optional SMP server to prepareConnectionLink) * cli: add /set profile image file, fix image flag Add "/set profile image file <path>" command to set the profile image from a .png/.jpg/.jpeg file in a running session. Make --user-image-file create-only: for an existing user it now no-ops with a note instead of failing with "chat not started" (the update ran before the chat controller was started). * core: unify image loading and profile size checks - loadImageFile (CLI) and readProfileImageFile (command) now share one loadImageData; removes the duplicated mime/base64 encoding and its decodeUtf8/safeDecodeUtf8 divergence. Corrects issues found reviewing the incoming translations across 20 languages.
CRITICAL:
- Turkish: revert 8 vandalized strings to faithful translations — the
"Open external link?" security dialog, app-upgrade prompt, relay-status
labels, and the "Privacy: for owners and subscribers" line had been
replaced with joke/offensive text.
- Ukrainian: fix a files/media privacy toggle that showed an unrelated
"chat with admins" string.
HIGH/MEDIUM: badge voice/tense inversions (uk, vi, ro, de), meaning
mistranslations (fr, es, id, vi, zh-Hans, ja, nl, ru), the Danish relay-bar
"/" separator loss, re-added role-name quotes (de, es, it, ar, ru, zh-Hans,
zh-Hant), restored dropped \n line breaks and sentences (id), and typos
(hu, es, uk, ro, cs, bg).
Placeholders, XML well-formedness, and .strings validity verified intact.

fix(core): annotate ambiguous memberRole record update (#7120)
The armv7a-android cross-compiler GHC refuses to disambiguate the bare
record update m {memberRole = role} (the field is shared by many record
types), failing the lib:simplex-chat build with "Record update is
ambiguous, and requires a type signature".
Annotate the updated record as (m :: GroupMember), matching the existing
workaround already used a few lines below in the same function.
